Our trip to Dublin
Klassenbeitrag

On October 17th, with an early morning meet-up at the airport at 4:45, classes 3HKA, 3HMA and 3HMB kicked off our adventure. Touching down in Dublin at 9 o'clock, we were promptly picked up by our host families.

The excitement continued with a guided city tour guided by Patrick, who showed and informed us about the city centre. The next day was filled with morning classes followed by an exploration of the captivating Epic Museum.

As the days unfolded, we experienced the vibrant atmosphere of Dublin singing Irish songs in a pub and touring Dalkey Castle where we crafted our own coins. On the weekend, we ditched school for a day to tour the stunning cliffs at Howth, opting for a spontaneous boat tour and indulging in delicious seafood at a local restaurant.

Gaelic games took center stage on Sunday, with spirited matches of Gaelic Football and Hurling, followed by a visit to the renowned Croke Park stadium. Our final day, Monday, was a whirlwind, featuring a glimpse of St. Patrick Cathedral, concluding classes, and many groups conducting surveys on bustling Grafton Street.

As the trip came to an end, we bid farewell to our host families on Tuesday morning before flying back to Vienna. Despite the exhaustion, our hearts were full, and the trip was undeniably a success!
